Treated Timber

TREATED CARCASSING
Our constructional grade timber is generally planed regularised all round with eased edges, kiln dried, graded C16/C24To comply with the new strength classes BS 4978:1996 and BS 5268:part 2. Timber used for structural purposes must be graded and marked C16 or C24, DRY or KD. Only timber marked as above can be used for structural purposes. (K.D. = kiln dried).
